You are invited to join us this Easter Weekend to meet our brand new lambs at Watergate Farm!
In March, we open our doors for our annual Lambing Weekends, which welcomes the local community to come and meet our newborn lambs.
Last weekend was the first of our Lambing weekends and we had a tremendous time with people young and old coming along to see the lambs being born. Lambing is progressing well and we’re expecting lots of activity this coming weekend.
We are open this Easter weekend on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (30 Mar – 2 Apr), giving a great opportunity to the whole family to enjoy a spring day out.
What happens on the day?
As well as seeing the lambs and ewes in our Lambing Barns, you will be able to experience farm-life with tractor and trailer rides, pony rides, sheep shearing as well as meeting our pigs and cows. We have an all day barbeque with refreshments and a picnic area where you can enjoy your lunch.
Entry to the event is by ticket only, which is purchased on the day when you arrive. Each attendee will need to have their own ticket.
Entry is from 10:30am with doors closing at 4:00pm.
Please note that out of respect for the welfare of our animals we cannot permit dogs on campus during this event.
Parking and Arrival
At Watergate Farm we have ample on site parking for all our visitors.
Lambing Open Days
With 2,000 sheep to give birth we have several Lambing Open Days.
